2XU V:1 Velocity Wetsuit has arrived introducing the new state of the art in the industry of triathlon wetsuit. There are six remarkable attributes; the most obvious of which are the Velocity Strakes or channeling on the body; the Concave Water Entrapment Zones on the forearms, and Propulsion panels which establishing a greater frontal region. These are, basically, scoops engineered into the material to give you a bigger catch area and, they are ITU legal in terms of the material thickness.

Velocity Strakes this wetsuit is the industry first velocity strakes channel water for greater stability and less sideways movement in variable conditions. In still conditions velocity strakes give greater lift and cleaner water flow resulting in more speed through the water.

C.W.E.Z. Concave water entrapment zone. Industry first catch panel strips, maximizing feel of the water with extra water entrapment area, supplying more distance per stroke.

Propulsion Panels, new and exclusive to 2XU are the propulsion panels, establishing a greater frontal region due to internal neoprene strips. Combined with the propriety velocity strakes placed on the shins and chest this feature enables more grip on the water and stabilized power from the kick.

Rollbar, industry first Rollbar region improves the buoyancy in the care of the wetsuit. Better body position is delivered through maintained buoyancy when the body rolls off the front panel. This ultimately maintains higher body position and derives power from better positions hips; enhancing the pull phase of the stroke.

Floating Zip, the floating zip panel increases flexibility allowing the zip to move in partnership with the body. This is especially crucial in the recovery and catch phase of the stroke: when your arm moves through the largest motion from beside your hip to entering the water in front of you requiring the wetsuit to stretch along your back and shoulder.

Transition Panels, 5mm neoprene is fused together to hyper flexible 1.5mm neoprene in key areas on the V:1. Using the latest in seam welding technology ensures maximum flexibility and maximum power.
