The Argon 18 Krypton is reborn for 2009. It now benefits from Argon 18 exclusive, 100% carbon S3 Monocoque construction, for a fully unified feel and response, perfect for high-performance riding. The frame and matching KR36 Fork are designed to work as a unit. They are made in Argon 18 exclusive CNC-machined molds using complementary materials. The Kr36 fork composite laminate offers greater front end stiffness for predictable handling through the tightest line even at very high speeds. The rear triangle distorts very little under full power; all energy applied to the Crankset is transferred to the rear wheel. Introduced in 2005, S3 means the down and top tube diameters vary with frame size. S3 enhances the inherent characteristics of monocoque construction, optimizing the desired ride qualities in each frame size without compromise.
