Gray Carbon Disc Rear Wheel is the results of 12 months of development and testing to provide an incredible rear disc wheel for Triathlon and Time Trial. Working with both 3M and AGFA the engineers of Gray have what we really feel is the ultimate in disc wheels. Their first objective were to ensure a foam that is of the highest standards and then they worked very hard to obtain superior stiffness without adding weight. The combination of foam and micro spheres allows Gray to do just that. The micro spheres basically provide incredible strength by linking the bubbles together and reduce density and weight.  This disc wheel is not only designed for the road but can be easily and quickly converted for use on the track. Using the same EZO bearings Gray uses in the Bolzano hub the wheel has a very low rolling resistance compared to standard sealed bearing wheels and 5 bearings will ensure a lifetime of outstanding performances. The Gray Disc wheel is built on the same mold as the Zipp Disc but the Gray disc is lighter and you can acquire it for an affordable price
