GRAY Wheels hand built to extreme standards using the very latest technology and materials of Gray industries leading designers. At Gray knows how wheels are used; even beautiful, carbon fiber race wheels. With racing and training in mind, in Gray designed and handmade our wheels for maximum aerodynamics and minimum weight. We also know not all road conditions are perfect, smooth, blacktop asphalt. Sometimes, in less than optimal conditions, a pothole, storm drain or bad road surfaces can not always be avoided. In our design process, making our wheels fast was obvious but Real World requirements told us they also had to be built with incredible strength and durability. Gray wheels are constructed from the highest quality materials available. The Gray rims use high modulus carbon fiber and the hubs are forged from 7076-T6 aluminum. This focus on quality allowed Gray to produce an extremely solid, strong and stiff wheel that can handle a rider up to 240 lbs., while retaining their aerodynamic advantage and light weight. Gray offers Tubular: 50mm, 95mm and Disc. Tubular wheels can be ordered in any combination. Spokes 20 front 24 rear.

What Wheel Combination Works or You? Ever since the inception of Triathlons and the advent of new technology, there have been discussions on what the most aerodynamic and effective wheel combination is. Here is the bottom line:

• Disc rear and 95 front: Flat and rolling terrain with non-windy to light wind conditions.

• 95 rear and 95 front: Flat and rolling to moderately hilly terrain with light wind conditions.

• 95 rear and 50 front: Rolling and hilly terrain with light wind or moderate wind conditions.

• 50 rear and 50 front: Hilly terrain with windy and very windy conditions.
