Lightweight Standard C for clincher Tires has been designed for use with wire or folding tires. To reach best possible results Lightweight has redesigned the entire rim. Lightweight Standard C wheels come with all technical innovations of our current Generation 3 wheels. The new all carbon spokes and the direct bonding of spokes, rim and hub is taken over from Standard and Obermayer wheels. New is the rim: It has to be light and stiff; additionally, the sidewall must meet extreme physical demands. Lightweight utilize a special temperature resistant resin enveloping the high tensile fibers to easily exceed the poor heat transfer capability of carbon fiber materials.
