Prologo Nago EVO TTR Saddle
Prologo Nago Evo TTR was designed and built specifically for Time Trial, and Triathlon use. Fabian Cancellara was involved in its development and used it last season in the Tour de France. Prologo Nago Evo TTR is a standard saddle and there are no clamp compatibility issues. This saddle comes with Nack rails and Titanium Rails, Nack is carbon fiber with Kevlar and aluminum in the clamp area. Prologo Nago EVO TTR comes in standard dimensions. The base is injected with carbon fiber, building for a 182 gram saddle. Where this saddle gets more motivating is in the shape, padding distribution, and cover texture. The Nago Evo TTR has a relatively standard shape, measuring 256mm tip to tail, and 136mm at the widest point. But it does have a nose that somewhat square in shape (42mm) and flat across the top. Depending on how you measure, the nose is about 120mm long and 42mm wide, and the cover in this portion is defined by Prologo Slide Control surface Texture, a series of raised arc-shaped ridges designed to help keep your personal parts firmly planted, rather than sliding forward off the end. Prologo Nago Evo TTR has thicker padding up front here. It is not the bulbous foam you might find on some triathlon saddles, but it is discreetly thicker and denser padding designed to bear most of your body weight on this small area.
ESD (Easy Stroke Design) it is the particular of the design of the nose which was researched by Prologo (also applied in other models) and increments the space needed by the legs to move easily, while giving a much better pedal strokes and thus maintained a better position.
Slide control designed and engineered by Prologo, no other saddle to this day present in the market has this tech solution. Thanks to a new material used and the particulars of the design, the Slide Control it is the ultimate solution to eliminate the movement towards the front while pedaling seated forward, reducing the losses of rhythm necessary for the repositioning. Usually the Triathlete to avoid this type of problem, apply a home made solution, which at the end are not optimal, like Velcrum or even pieces of abrasive paper on the nose.
Foam special foam used to obtain the maximum support for the pelvis of the athlete.
Base the particular structure of the base uses a reinforced carbon fiber compound, which gives to the saddle an extreme stiffness with a complete response to the pedal stroke.
Specifications:
- Slide Control, a proprietary Prologo technology, consists of urethane inserts bonded to the cover that prevents the cyclist from sliding forward towards the Aerobars and increases control of the bike.
- Carbon Fiber Injection Base is a constructed out of composite fortified with 18% carbon fiber, resulting in an exceptionally light and durable base with excellent torsional rigidity. The base is relieved in the nose to increase give, complimenting the thick, soft padding of the TTR upper.
- Pro Ti Solid full Titanium rails offer lower weight and greater strength and are made from the same materials used by aerospace industries.
- Weight 182gr (Nack Rails) and 230gr TS
