RZR Rim is constructed from special, ultra high modulus, Ultralight carbon fiber, with boron placed strategically within the matrix. The RZR 46mm rim use a non-tensioned carbon spokes which requires a different structure that optimizes Rim-Spoke Combination. As consequence this Reynolds RZR Rim is strong, light, and stiff; with the lowest possible mass. Reynolds designed this rim with the patented Swirl Lip Generator which improves aerodynamics and re-attachment of the air flow to the trailing edge of the rim. The RZR Rim features a ceramic scrim braking surface in order to obtain a quick and solid performance. Also come with a special brake track wear indicator.

RZR Spokes featuring a new symmetrically shaped airfoil spokes. Designated N.A.C.A.0033 (N.A.C.A. number describes unique airfoil shape); the spoke is a true airfoil, not blade or flat plate. Reynolds Cycling has patented the airfoil spoke shape for cycling wheels that provides the optimal shape for low drag and stiffness. This new design of the spokes makes possible to attach it to the hub and the rim with no tension. This is important because while carbon spokes perform well in tension, they are less reliable in compression. Reynolds designed RZR Spokes to deflect up to 5 mm, thus eliminating the possibility of failure from compression. When a spoke deflects, it is no longer in axial compression, it is bending.

RZR Hub ; Rear hub features a patent pending Torque Flange carbon fiber hub, featuring a unique center flange aligned in the same plane as the wheel. The left and right side spoke arrays have no deflection as torque is applied. In a two-flanged hub design, as torque is applied, the rim is pulled to each side keeping things in perfect alignment. RZR front hub comes with a traditional radial spoke pattern. To attach the spokes to the hub and the rim; Reynolds engineers developed a innovative hammerhead shaped nipple that slides over the spoke and bonded at each end, this design allows a spoke to be easy replaced.
