Vittoria has created the highest grade of Corespun casing cord and optimized rubber compounds available, using a casing called Compressed Warp allows individual threads to act independently, thereby significantly reducing surface deflection and rolling resistance. This casing cord construction is made up of a single polyester filament core and a wound cotton covering. The cotton offers improved bonding to the natural rubber without any added stiffness, thus lowering the rolling resistance. The Polyester cord is what gives these tires the needed strength for durability and ultra high air pressures.
